I put this movie in my netflix cue and hopefully will receive it soon. I hope it's good. The japanese made great ghost/supernatural stories: Kawaidan, Ugetsu, Onibaba. As good as some of the recent crop of J-horror films were, they never quite reached the level of eeriness that the earlier films had.
Happy Hallowe'en Valdemar (Dave)!
Happy Hallowe'en to you, too! I think Kuroneko is very good - it's certainly a visual feast.
