Yes, it's a ballet-theatre version of Dracula. I think it's rather good. One for the dance lovers.

Great choice! I bought this one sight unseen, based on it's reputation. It has never been a disappointment. It's absolutely a beautiful film. Amazing, as it was filmed using Super 8mm cameras for the most part. The commentary by Guy Maddin was worth the price of the DVD alone.
I, too, bought it sight unseen. It is wonderful, and made me realise how much can be done without a ridiculous budget, big name stars etc. Also quite funny at times, especially Van Helsing appropriating Mina's dress.
All those odd bits of "Maddinisms", like the Mina dress bit, made me a fan of Guy Maddin's work for life.
